CIFAL BILBAO Centre and the Brazilian National Confederation of Municipalities (CNM) organise the training course entitled "DIGITAL LOCAL AGENDA: a strategy for the development of the Information Society".
The course develops two complementary methodologies: the CIFAL Bilbao methodology for the design of the Digital Local Agenda (e-local agenda) which offers the theoretical-practical base and, the UNITAR’s CIFAL network “cityShare” methodology with the objective of creating a network.
It is already confirmed the participation of 28 representatives of Latin-American municipalities from Brazil, El Salvador, Argentina and Ecuador.
The opening ceremony will count on the participation of the President of the Brazilian National Confederation of Municipalities, Mr. Pablo Ziulkoski, and the Director of CIFAL Bilbao, Mr. Ramón Peñagaricano.
During the three days course that combines theory and practice 4 practices will be presented.
The training course of Brazil is the continuation of the training courses programme that CIFAL Bilbao has planned for 2007, together with the ones held up to now in Plock, Shanghai, Durban, Chile and Tallinn. The next training course, this time devoted to training of trainers, will take place in Bilbao in December.
